Youth & Teens

We’re all about making Judaism awesome! Our programming is designed to create fun outlets where lifelong relationships with friends and mentors are forged, while building a passionate Jewish identity along the way.

Youth events throughout the year primarily focus on celebrating Jewish holidays. From Purim carnivals to Chanukah parties, these gatherings have always been the highlight for Shoresh families, making Judaism positive and relevant.

For more than three decades, the Fidler Teen Torah Center has provided exciting year-round programming developed specifically for teens. High schoolers can participate in monthly Brew Crews in their areas that build lasting friendships with other Jewish teens as they grow together to explore their heritage. Brew Crews are taught by outstanding educators, many of whom have been Division Heads at Camp Shoresh. Annual winter trips solidify teens’ connections to each other as well as to staff members. Every three years the TTC takes a life-changing trip to Israel for an experience like no other.

Middle schoolers have their own club, the Davison Jew Crew. Similar in nature to the Brew Crews, the 6th-8th graders meet monthly to expand their Jewish knowledge.
